I liked how straightforward this product is, with no unnecessary frills.

To open the dirt compartment, simply press the “eject” button on the handle. It’s simple, but I dislike having to manually scoop out dirt, dust, and hair. It would be nice if it came with a cleaning tool.

The fact that the ChomChom picks up pet hair, dust, and other debris is amazing. Because the cat sheds more than the dog, I used it on a blanket that the cat likes to nap on. The ChomChom removed the majority of the hair from the blanket in one pass. It was so simple!

Then the couch. I got a gray sofa, so the cat hair isn’t visible on it, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It took me about two minutes to use the ChomChom on one of the cushions, and the dirt compartment was full. Once again, I was impressed with the product’s ease of use and lack of need to stop and remove a sticky sheet like a lint roller.

But the ChomChom isn’t great on all surfaces. Generally, the fabric you use it on should be taut. Otherwise, the ChomChom is a dud. So I used it to remove hair from a sweatshirt, but it wasn’t very effective because the fabric kept moving. Similarly, it didn’t remove hair from the cat’s soft bedding. I had to stretch the fabric before using the ChomChom.
